11. RULES 1.To make questions and negatives in the present simple we use the verb DO/DOES. 2. We add an –s to the third person singular (he/she/it).

12. 3.However with verbs that end in –o, -sh, -ch and –s (with he/she/it) we add –es. (Example does, finishes, catches, tosses). 4.With verbs that end with –y we add –ies (with he/she/is). Example: study – studies BUT play – plays.
