Fifth Grade Locomotor Skills Objectives: PE.5.MS.1.3 Illustrate mature form in combining locomotor and manipulative skills for traditional and non traditional activities. PE.5.MS.1.4 Use variations of different locomotor skills with rhythmic patterns and smooth transitions. What does that mean to you? In the fifth grade jump roping unit you continue working on the 5 jump roping skills. This year you will be asked to demonstrate that you can use all 5 skills while continuously jumping at least 4 times. Jump Roping skills: 1. Forward Jumping 2. Backward Jumping 3. Jog-Step Jumping 4. One Foot Jumping 5. Skier Jumping

Fifth Grade Jump Rope Summary By the end of this unit you will need to be able to show your teacher that you can use all 5 of these skills while jump roping at least 4 continuous times. Jump Roping skills: 1. Forward Jumping 2. Backward Jumping 3. Jog-Step Jumping 4. One Foot Jumping 5. Skier Jumping
