Early years and later years Leonardo was born on April 15, 1452 and died May 2, 1519. He was born outside the village of Vinci, near Florence in central Italy. Leonardo's dad was Ser Piero Da Vinci. His dad was from a higher class family and was a legal specialist. His mom, Caterina, was a women from a lower class. Leonardo was given the best education that Florence could offer. Fame Leonardo Da Vinci was a famous Italian painter and had different genius skills on history. He drew the portraits of Mona Lisa and his religious scene, the last supper, is the most famous pictures ever painted. Leonardo was trained to be a painter. Hobbies Leonardo loved to paint and taught others how to paint. He had his own studio in Florence. Verrochio, one of Leonardo’s friends, they painted and worked together. They both painted the baptism of Christ which is a famous painting. ACCOMPLISHMENTS He was the most famous Italian artist. He drew the Mono Lisa and the last supper and ect. Drawings. About 1500 Leonardo built the first mechanical fan. Then in 1483 Leonardo sketched a design for a helicopter. He also was the first person to come up with the first scientific text book on human anatomy.

Why I picked Leonardo I picked Leonardo because he was a very intelligent man. Also I was interested in his art. I also wanted to learn more about Leonard Da Vinci and his life.
