The Prophesied Savior As recorded by the prophets Born of a virgin (Is 7:14; Lk 1:26-31) Born in Bethlehem (Mic 5:2; Lk 2:4-7) Preceded by a forerunner preparing the way (Mal 3:1; Lk 7:24-27) Rejected by His own people (Is 51:3; Jn 1:11) Betrayed for 30 pieces of silver (Zec 11:12; Mt 26:14-15) Silent to accusations (Is 53:7; Mk 15:4-5) Crucified with criminals (Is 53:12; Mk 15:27-28) Pierced through hands, feet and side (Zec 12:10; Jn 20:27; 19:34)

The Crucified Savior Every step Jesus took led Him to the cross Isaiah prophesied His death for sinners (Is 53) John the Baptist called Him the Lamb of God (Jn 1:29, 36) Jesus revealed His coming death to His disciples (Mt 20:18-19) On the cross, He was the figure of forgiveness (Mt 27:29-50) The dying thief found forgiveness (Lk 23:43) All who come to Him find peace and eternal life (Jn 3:16, 6:37)

The Risen Savior His resurrection proved His deity (Jn 2:19) His enemies thought He was destroyed at the cross But He arose (Mt 28:1-6) Because He arose, those who trust Him will also rise (1 Cor 15:20) Proofs of His resurrection The empty tomb and the eyewitnesses The transformed disciples and the enduring Church

The Coming Savior Christ, who died and rose again, will come again He must come to fulfill His promise (Jn 14:1-3) Are you ready for His return?
