Where do Computer Specialist work? They work in a well-lighted offices or in computer laboratories.Computer Specialist normally work 40 hours a week but that may include on call via pager or telephone for rotating evening or weekend work if the employer requires computer support over extended hours

Working conditions. You would sit most of the time. There’s some walking and standing you may have to lift and carry some books, papers, or tools weighing 10lbs or less. Work in this occupation involves sitting more than one third of the time.
