This is the story of a little boy. A little boy like every other little boy. A little boy with a big imagination. And then, a little boy with a big burden. A genetically inherited disease that destroys many little lives… This is the story of a little boy with Muscular Dystrophy. Tony Story and illustrations by Judith Huang Problem Based Learning ~ Product

This is Tony. Tony is a little boy…

…with big dreams. He dreamt of...

…dragons,

aeroplanes,

submarines, and other happy little-boy things.

Then, one day, the sky fell. And the dreams changed.

Tony was ill, and he didn’t get better.

And every day, the dreams got sadder.

They became dark, and they became strange.

The doctor said things wouldn’t be the same…

and now Tony can only dream …of ever walking again…

About this Presentation This story was originally meant to be published as a picture book in aid of children with Muscular Dystrophy. I am still looking into this. Basically, it serves as our reflections after doing this project. It is a personal response to what we have read about these less fortunate people. Although I embarked on it on a more personal level, it would not have been possible if not for my group mates’ and mentor’s support, whom never hesitated to chip in on whatever help I needed at the moment for this publication. So this goes out to my friends and my mentor, too, besides all the little boys in the world it is about. ~ Judith Huang (author)
