Evalution 1. Why is 21 February called Shaheed Dibosh ? Ans: 21 February is called Shaheed Dibosh because our language martyrs sacrificed their lives for our mother tongue on that day. 2. Why do people go to Shaheed Minar ? How do they go there ? Ans: People go to the Shaheed Minar to place wreaths at the minar. They go on barefoot in procession, singing the mourning song “Amar Bhayer Rakte Rangano…….. 3. Why is 21 February now observed throughout the world every year ? Ans: 21 February is observed throughout the world every year to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism.
