What Is The Procedure? Procedure concerns how things are DONE
It is a step to be learned

Why Are Procedures Important?
Procedures allow many different activities to take place efficiently during the school day, with a minimum of wasted time and confusion. Procedures increase on-task time and greatly reduce classroom disruptions. Procedures tell a student how things operate in a classroom, thus reducing discipline problems.

Always remember that: Procedures must be practiced again and again until they become routines.

Lining Up for the Morning Ceremonies

When You Are Tardy when you are tardy (“Sorry teacher, sorry classmates I am late.”)

Entering the Classroom & Getting to Work Immediately
after breakfast, kids will freshen up themselves kids will prepare their things for ILA and for the next subject lining up for the first class tasks for the subject should be done immediately upon arriving (DLA & 1–minute math)

Listening to / responding to questions
raise your hand and wait for the teacher to call you procedures could be “popcorn effect” or “call the next” Stand up properly and answer in complete sentences

Early Finishers students will review their papers
students may start answering their given homework students will answer the prepared “Challenge Work”

Checking of Papers exchange with your partner, clockwise, counterclockwise, to the left, to the right etc. (at the count of one, everybody should stop answering) red ballpen should be used names should be written as the corrector after checking, papers will be passed to the center aisle

Going to the Comfort Room
hand signal should be used to avoid noise only 2 students at a time a student is only allowed to be out for 2 minutes

When Visitors are in the Classroom
greet the visitors (“Great ____ visitors. Welcome to Food for Hungry Minds School. We are grade ___ section ____.”)

When the teacher is out the president or leader will facilitate the class to do some activities (read a book, do 1-minute math, do read naturally etc.)

End Of The Subject Dismissal
Keep your things inside your bag. Leave your chairs and tables in order. Say “ Goodbye and thank you Teacher … “ and recite a poem or sing song while waiting for your next teacher.

When you need something,
Raise your hand properly. Wait for the teacher to acknowledge you. Stand up properly and say what you need.

Keeping your desk/place orderly
Prepare your things needed for that particular subject. Place them on the left side of your table/basket. Keep your trash inside your bag and throw them during your break. Keep your table/arm chair free from any form of writings or markings.

When you are absent Have your parents accomplish the ”Explanation of Absence form” in your diary. Let your adviser sign your excuse letter.

Working cooperatively
Always stay with your assigned group. Ask permission from your group mates when leaving. Have a modulated voice while working with your group.

Going to the office Knock three times on the door.
Open the door and greet the people inside the office. Say your purpose why you are in the office. Say “ Thank you” before leaving.

Submitting homework, seatwork, return slips, payments, etc.
Always pass them to your right without standing. Wait for the paper of your seatmate before passing it to the next person beside you. Always pass them quietly and orderly.

Going to the library/ playground/the other rooms
Always form a line according to height. Walk quietly. Always walk on the right side of the hallway when going to the library. When going to the playground, walk with your buddy. When going to another room, wait for the students inside to come out before entering the room.

Walking in the hall during class time
Walk quietly, no running. Follow the pathway, shortcuts are not allowed.

Responding to a fire/earthquake drill
Don’t panic. Keep yourself in a safe place like under the table. Be attentive to warning signals. Stay with the group. Follow the teachers’ instructions.

If you are suddenly ill Call the attention of your teacher.
Tell the teacher what you are feeling.

End of the Day students with assigned tasks will do their part (cleaners & sink washer) lining up (as managed by the line leader) prayer (as led by the prayer leader)
