5 Gateway Year CMS Requirements for Promotion: Class-work / Preparation 70% or above in LA, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health/PE, and one other elective Score at or above III on state EOG in Reading, Mathematics, Science

6 MAKE-UP WORK POLICIES Absent students excused or unexcused expected to collect missing assignments from their teachers on their first day back in class. Will have TWO days 4 each day absent to turn in assignments Receive full credit. If not in after 2 Days… Considered LATE Can be turned in w/in 2 weeks Max score 70% More than 2 weeks late… Max score 50% Not turned in… Max score 0%

Understand the connections between proportional relationships, lines, and linear equations. Analyze and solve linear equations and pairs of simultaneous linear equations. Functions Define, evaluate, and compare functions. Use functions to model relationships between quantities. Geometry Understand congruence and similarity using physical models, transparencies, or geometry software. Understand and apply the Pythagorean Theorem. Solve real-world and mathematical problems involving volume of cylinders, cones and spheres. Statistics and Probability Investigate patterns of association in bivariate data.
