Rosemount Boys’ Basketball 2015-2016 It’s “R” Time Parent Meeting, November 12, 2015

It’s “R” Time What’s does is mean??? What the slogan means to me is that it's our time as a team to prove that we are one of the top the teams in our conference. Also as a senior this is my final year of basketball, I want to help my teammates to become better players and people. We've waited 17, 18 years to represent the community of Rosemount every Tuesday and Friday night and to now it's finally our time to make them proud by winning basketball games. The next meaning for me is that it's our time to make Rosemount into a powerhouse program in both the South Suburban Conference as well as the State. We have put in countless hours of hard work in preparation for the season (and continue to do so during the season) and it's time for us to let that dedication pay off as we put forth our best effort each night to compete for the W and represent our school and the community of Rosemount. The motto to me means that it's my last opportunity to play a meaningful basketball game. So it's my time to make a mark in this program What our slogan "It's "R" Time" means to me and this team I think is that its our chance to write a new story.. This program hasn't been where it should be for awhile now and we get a chance to change that culture for us and those who follow "It's R time" means something different to me as a senior than it does for the younger guys I think. As a senior this is my last chance to play competitive basketball and just enjoy being on a team with a bunch of my friends and I want to make the most of it. It's our turn to show what we can do! It's our turn to prove that we can play with anyone. It’s our year to shine and show everyone who we are. We won’t settle for anything but our best and give our best effort. Also, we will represent our team and city the in the best way we can.
