Definitions Observation: Inference: Hypothesis:
A statement using one or more of your senses to gather info about the world; a FACT that is true to all observers. Inference: A statement that explains or interprets an observation. Hypothesis: Typically an “if…., then…..” statement that is a testable theory based on observations.
