Pit Crew v. Regional Coach Pit Crew BOTH -Formal/informal observations and follow-up conversations -Oversees goal-setting with teachers -Provide interventions for teachers, results-driven -Monitor implementation of suggested strategies -Align support strategies to student data -Improve teacher understanding of state standards -Interfacing with Learning Coaches and mentors to guide support -Monitors PGSP teachers/LCs -Collaborates with all support givers -Follows policies of schools and district -Actively participates in Pit Crew Meetings -Maintain paperwork required for caseload -Collaborates, designs, and implements new teacher support -Acts professionally, ethically, fairly Reg. Coach

Real-Time Teacher Coaching Training Tiers Tier 1 First 5 to 6 days of training First two days to observe and practice pieces of the model Days 3 to 6 to allow coach to lead cycles to demonstrate proficiency 2:2 support from Norman and Carolyn (JC as available) Progress assessed days 3 to 6 using Memphis rubric Tier 2 2 additional days intense rubric-driven support in the field More purposeful scheduling 2:2 support with Kara or JC Progress assessed Days 7 & 8 Video-taping of certain cycles of coaching: OPTIONAL Tier 3 2 additional days intense rubric-driven support in the field One-on-one support with JC Progress assessed days 9 & 10 Video-taping of certain cycles of coaching: REQUIRED ALL certified RTTCs will be required to share a video of a complete cycle of coaching each month to maintain certification.
