3 Population Health u "Population Health" may be defined as 'the health of a population as measured by health status indicators and as influenced by social, economic and physical environments, personal health practices, and individual health capacity and coping skills, human biology, early childhood development and health services.' (Young 2000).

4 Public Health u The science and art of promoting health, preventing disease and prolonging life through organized efforts of society u For Example, it is the science and practice of protecting and improving the health of a community, through preventive medicine, health education, control of communicable diseases, application of sanitary measures, and monitoring of environmental hazards
