4 Institute for International Education Open Doors Report, 2011 Villanova University ranked 3rd in the nation for participation rates For mid-term and short-term programs VU ranked 4 th in the nation. VU ranked 15 th in the nation for study abroad participation as percentage of student body (6 th percentile) For ALL universities, VU in the top 10 th percentile

5 Study Abroad “Snapshot” 39% of 2011 graduating class had studied abroad In 2011-2012, students are on 34 different programs in 38 nations. 50% of students on Villanova-specific programs 70% in non-English speaking countries 24% of study abroad population is multicultural.
