2. Some of the issues facing us are:  pollution—air/water  global warming  hazardous chemicals/wastes  depleting natural resources: coal/oil  disappearing rainforests  bulk of trash—packaging  plastic, Styrofoam,  Pesticides vs. organic farming  antibiotics in animals  endangered species

3. For more information  Environmental issues are in the news everyday.  Interview grown ups about the environmental issue they are concerned about  Internet  Books  Newspapers

4. Summarize Information  Once you have found your source (or sources) all you need to do is summarize the information  Give a definition of your issue  Tell what scientists know  Tell what scientists say needs to happen to fix the problem

5. Your Part  Summarize your issue first.  Give solutions to the problem. You and your group may add your own solution, too.  You and your group need to come up with some way to get the school involved: it can be a slogan, jingle, and/or poster

6. Works Cited  You will need to give credit to the people, books, newspapers and/or websites that you got your information from.
