Shooting sequence Much like the Panorama: Locked down on Tripod, Consistent: focus, white balance, exposure, focus (sort of), …. Take a first shot with No subject in frame. Take remaining shots on Constant frame (around Shooting Mode selector) or just as a faked position shoot. Go Get ‘em.

In Photoshop Open all images into photoshop. Move the ‘empty’ frame to the background, duplicate background. Eliminate images that have overlapping subjects for a clean look (and easy work or transparent them) Using the Layer Mask tool (laundry looking box below layers) and Paintbrush (black hides, white reveals. I recommend a “hard” brush. (my way) “black paint” the whole frame, then “white paint” back in the subject into each frame, moving from left to right or some systematic way.

In Photoshop In the end Flatten image so that you don’t an enormous file and save as a JPEG… a PSD will be way too massive. Impress your friends by posting to Facebook… (optional) Your life is slightly more exciting than you believe and slightly less exciting than your facebook statuses indicate. Don’t worry this is nearly a universal truth.
