Methods for Answering Essay Questions Make sure you understand what is being asked. Look for key terms such as “outline,” “define,” “contrast,” “critique,” etc. Use a brainstorming technique Create an outline from your brainstormed list Write the essay focusing on handwriting, proper grammar, etc. Read what you have written

Final Words Remember, if you follow these steps, you can be confident that you did everything possible to succeed on your exams! Ask for help if you need it! NHS students and peer mediators will be visiting homerooms for additional support! NHS will have quiet study sessions and tutors available on 1/15, 1/16 & 1/20 in rooms 142 during the school day. They will be there on 1/15 & 1/20 after school. Be sure to attend for some extra support. Think positively! You can do it… GOOD LUCK GOOD LUCK
