DIVIDE THE DESIGN INTO MOSAIC PIECES

PIECES SHOULD FIT TOGETHER, THE PIECES SHOULD NOT BE TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL.

WORKING MOSAIC DESIGN

USE WATERCOLOR MARKER TO COPY THE WORKING MOSAIC DESIGN

PLACE THE TRACING PAPER (THE SIDE THAT WAS DRAWN ON WITH THE MARKER) ONTO A SMOOTH SLAB.

PRESS WITH FINGERTIPS ON ALL OF THE MARKER LINES.

CUT OUT THE PIECES OF THE MOSAIC WITH A K-9 TOOL.

CRAFT THE PIECES THE EDGE PIECES NEED TO BE CRAFTED THE ENTIRE SIDE OF THE PIECE AS THEY WILL BE EDGE OF THE MOSAIC.

ALL PIECES NEED TO BE PUT TOGETHER.

STORE MOSAIC WITH THE PIECES TIGHTLY TOGETHER

TRANSFER DETAILS TO CUT OUT MOSAIC PIECES

LINE UP TRANSFER AND PIECES CAREFULLY

SO THE DESIGN GOES ON CLAY PROPERLY

CAREFULLY CARVE OUT FAUVE LINES

CLAY CRUMBS CAN BE BRUSHED OFF AS THE CLAY DRIES.

ALWAYS KEEP THE PIECES TOGETHER WHEN WORKING ON THEM, STORING THEM AND BISQUE FIRING THEM.
