PLHS BASEBALL COACHES MISSION STATEMENT We coach to help young men become responsible, accountable, hard working men of integrity who persevere through adversity while striving to have a positive impact on their peers and community.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE Prior Lake High School Baseball maintains 5 teams and involves tryouts and releases. Each team will keep the number of players that the coaches determine from the tryouts. PLAYER RELEASE DAY Freshmen Release Day When: Friday, March 11 th Where: Prior Lake High School Time: 3:30 pm -At least 1 coach will meet with each player to inform them of their status in the PLHS baseball program -The players are encouraged to ask questions during this meeting -A & B teams will NOT be picked by this date -Freshmen baseball players will start practice on Monday, March 28 th.

FILLING A ROLE You need to fill one of the identified roles in order to make the Prior Lake High School Baseball Program and a team. -Discussions on these roles occur between the coaches throughout the year. -A player’s role can change through out the year -If you have questions about where you are THE PLAYER needs to ask.

GRADES Student athletes are required to be passing all of their classes Student athletes are required to be passing all of their classes Grade checks are done by the Athletic Dept every 2 weeks during the season.
