4. Application letters
In your application letter, you need to include the following information:
Details of the position that you are applying for and where you saw the job advertised
The reasons why you want the job (should not be financial reasons!)
A brief description of the relevant experience and skills that you have and could use in the role
A brief description of some of the relevant qualifications that you have

Read through the example application letter that you have been given and discuss the answers to the questions at the top of the example.

You need to start writing your own application letter. Some of it will need to be made up, for example the relevant qualifications that you have.
Use the ‘Things to remember’ hand out to help you or use it as a check list to make sure you have included all of the information.

Make sure that you include your home address on the right hand side of the letter
Proof read work
Include the following information in your application letter:
The job title you’re applying for and where you saw the advert
Brief reasons why you want the job
The experience that you have
The qualifications you have
Include the business’ address on the left hand side of your letter. On the last line of the address, you should include the date too.
