2. These adjectives are used to point out specific items…to ‘demonstrate’ which items one is discussing. These adjectives are BAGS adjectives, so they are placed IN FRONT of the noun that they modify. These adjectives mean: “THIS____” “THAT__” “THESE___” “THOSE___” A NOUN would go here

3. Masculine singular The MASCULINE SINGULAR form is used in front of masculine singular nouns. Masculine singular form: CE___ Ce couscous est délicieux! = This couscous is delicious! Ce film est intéressant. = This movie is interesting.

4. Feminine singular The FEMININE SINGULAR form is used in front of feminine singular nouns. Masculine singular form: CETTE___ Cette pomme est rouge. = This/that apple is red. Cette fille parle allemand. = This/that girl speaks German.

5. Plurals The PLURAL form is used in front of plural nouns, regardless of gender. Plural form: CES___ Ces filles peuvent skier.=These/those girls can ski. Ces garçons ne peuvent pas skier. = These/those boys cannot ski.

6. Special Form There is one special form that is used in front of a MASCULINE, SINGULAR NOUN that BEGINS WITH A VOWEL SOUND. Special Form: CET___ Cet anorak est énorme. This/that ski jacket is enormous. Cet ordinateur ne fonctionne pas. This/that computer does not work.
