External Portal Users No inherit correlation between Portal Users and CRM Users Portal Users are tracked in the CRM as Contacts Contacts are Invited via Invitations, which are redeemed via the Portal Authentication, Authorization also tracked against the contact record

Contact Configuration
Contact contains a Portal Contact form, which contains attributes that extend the contact as a portal user Found on the Web Authentication Tab “Login Enabled” – determines if the contact is a portal user or just a business contact

Profile Page Users manage their user accounts through the Security navigation From this screen users can edit their Contact information, related account (if enabled), view their past transactions and more
