1. Hymn 23 Mine Eyes Upon the Lord (Continually Are Set)

2. Verse 1 Mine eyes upon the Lord continually are set;

3. For He it is that shall bring forth my feet out of the net.

4. Turn unto me Thy face, and to me mercy show,

5. Because that I am desolate and am brought very low.

6. Verse 2 My heart’s griefs are increased; relieve me from distress;

7. See mine affliction and my pain, and all my sins forgive;

8. Consider Thou my foes, because they many are,

9. And it a cruel hatred is which they against me bear.

10. Last Verse O do Thou keep my soul, do Thou deliver me,

11. And let me never be ashamed because I trust in Thee;

12. Let uprightness and truth keep me, who Thee attend.

13. Redemption, Lord, to Israel from all his troubles send.
