2. Where was built? Orthodox temple, located on the red square of China-town in Moscow. Widely known monument of Russian architecture.

3. When was built? The Pokrovsky Cathedral was built in 1555-1561 years.

4. Why was built? It was built by the order of Ivan the Fourth in the memory of Kazan and the victory over Kazan khanate.

5. How was it built? On one of versions, the architect was famous Pskov master Postnik Yakovlev nicknamed Barma. On the other, widely known version Barma and Postnik - two different architect, both involved in the construction. In the third version, the Cathedral was built by a unknown master from Western Europe.
