2 Where was built? Orthodox temple, located on the red square of China-town in Moscow. Widely known monument of Russian architecture.

3 When was built? The Pokrovsky Cathedral was built in 1555-1561 years.

4 Why was built? It was built by the order of Ivan the Fourth in the memory of Kazan and the victory over Kazan khanate.

5 How was it built? On one of versions, the architect was famous Pskov master Postnik Yakovlev nicknamed Barma. On the other, widely known version Barma and Postnik - two different architect, both involved in the construction. In the third version, the Cathedral was built by a unknown master from Western Europe.
