2. Binder with 5 tabs Tab 1 – Goals/standards Keep the standards in your notebook. Read through the standards. Homework: Choose 2 goals that you need to work on. This will be due next Thursday. Your goals should be described using the SMART method.

4. Book of the Month Tab 2 – Book of the Month Planning log Monthly completion form + RC test.

5. Tab 3 – Lit. study/writing resources Response to literature vocabulary Classwork Formatting guides Grammar guides Etc.

6. Tab 4 – Weekly warmups Tuesday – sentence editing, weekly grammar in context (if possible) Wednesday – journal entry Thursday Greek/latin roots, prefixes, etc. Friday – Silent Reading Mondays – Writing circles/ Reading circles (I’ll be creating your groups)

7. Tab 5 – Returned work (quizzes, tests, graded writing) See areas of opportunity for growth. See how your writing progresses throughout the year.
