Mission Coordinate wildland fire programs between DOI agencies as well as with other federal and non- federal partners Establish policies and budgets Provide oversight and strategic leadership resulting in safe, cohesive, and comprehensive, wildland fire programs for the nation.

Office of Wildland Fire Coordination This is accomplished through: Management Oversight Coordination Of the DOI wildland fire management programs, policies, budgets, and information technology enterprise systems

Office of Wildland Fire Coordination OWFC (Soon to be called the Office of Wildland Fire-OWF) OWFC has been reorganized to implement recommendations of the Interior Fire Executive Council and the four Interior Bureau Fire Directors.

Office of Wildland Fire Coordination OWFC Organization Includes: Director Deputy Director Three functional Divisions Budget and Performance Management Division, Policy Division Enterprise Systems and Decision Support Division.

Office of Wildland Fire Coordination Budget and Performance Management Consists of a Budget Officer and two Budget Analysts. Manages and oversees the DOI Wildland Fire Management financial account and budget operations. This includes development, prioritization, allocation, monitoring and evaluation. Coordinates with other Departmental offices and bureaus within the Department, the USDA Forest Service and other agencie Provides leadership to all Government Performance and Reporting Act requirements Serving as primary contact for audit and review activities

Office of Wildland Fire Coordination Policy Division Consists of an Operations Specialist, Fuels and Biomass Coordinator, Emergency Management Specialist, Science Advisor and Strategic Planner Develops cross-cutting wildland fire management program policies, strategies, plans and processes for the DOI Collaborates with the bureaus within the Department, other Federal agencies and non-federal partners and stakeholders (including States, Tribes, counties, cities, and non-governmental organizations). Ensures that the Department’s wildland fire management activities are consistent with all applicable laws, regulations and the Department’s strategic plan.

Office of Wildland Fire Coordination Enterprise Systems and Decision Support Division Consists of : Fire Program Analysis Group (FPA) – Wildland Fire Decision Support System (WFDSS) Integrated Reporting of Wildland-Fire Information Group (iRWIn) Ecosystem Management Decision Support (EMDS)

Office of Wildland Fire Coordination Enterprise Systems and Decision Support Division Coordinates with Federal and non-Federal partners on inter- departmental/intra-governmental Information Technology systems that support interagency wildland fire business management, fire operations and program management activities and other decision support tools. Coordinates with the Department’s Chief Information Officer Consolidates and centralizes information technology infrastructure and compliance across Aligns information technology capabilities with business and mission areas to increase effectiveness, improve transparency and increase productivity, improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
