Methodology Categories: – Avocados – Total Produce: Includes avocados Timeframe: YTD Q3 (January – September) 2015 Average Selling Price (ASP) is not Advertised Retail Price – Average selling price = Dollars/Volume (Units) = Average price per unit Retail data provided by IRI / FreshLook Marketing – HAB's calculation based in part on data reported by Information Resources, Inc. through its Freshlook Service for the Avocado category for Multi-Outlet (MULO). Multi-outlet reporting includes an aggregation of the following channels: grocery, mass, club, drug, dollar and military. West Region: Highlights - YTD Q3 Overview based on the following geography: – The West Region captures the Markets of Boise, Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Spokane and West Texas/New Mexico, plus additional cities not captured in those Markets 2015 vs. 2014, avocado dollars in West grew +11% and lagged the Total U.S. growth rate by -3 points – Avocado dollar growth rate outpaced total produce (+4%) by +7 points – During the same time, category volume grew +18% – Category average selling price (ASP) decreased -6% to $0.98/unit – Large Hass avocados (4225) drove category dollar growth, adding over +$10MM – However, Small Hass avocados (PLU 4046) drove category units adding nearly +18MM units West posted the highest dollar and volume velocities, more than double the national average – West averaged $837 and 853 units per store per week through Q3 2015 3

West vs. Total U.S. - YTD Q3 PLU Comparisons Avocado dollar sales in WE increased +11% and lagged the Total U.S. growth rate by -3 points – Volume increased +18%, -5 points behind the Total U.S. growth rate Large Hass avocados (PLU 4225) drove dollar growth in WE, adding over +$10MM to the category – However, Small Hass avocados (PLU 4046) drove category units, adding nearly +18MM units – Large Hass avocado ASP of $1.28/unit was nearly double that of Small Hass avocados 6 West Trailed Total U.S. in Dollar and Volume Sales Growth Rates

West: YTD Q3 Category Per Store Per Week Averages West had the highest dollar velocity, more than double the national average – West averaged $837 per store per week through Q3 2015 West had the highest volume velocity, more than double the national average – West averaged 853 units per store per week through Q3 2015 7 West Posted the Highest Average Dollars and Units Per Store Per Week

West: 2013-Q1 through 2015-Q3 Units vs. ASP Retail Units – The peak quarter was 2015-Q2 at 84MM units when ASP was $0.96/unit – The lowest quarter was 2013-Q4 at 51MM units when ASP was at $1.02/unit ASP – Lowest ASP to date occurred during 2013-Q1, $0.83/unit – Highest ASP to date occurred during 2014-Q3 at $1.14/unit 8
