3. Introduction and Historical Background The first Journal issue was published in 1395H (1975G) under the name of Engineering Sciences Journal biannually. The Journal ’ s name was changed in 1408H (1988G) to King Saud University Journal [Engineering Sciences].

4. Statistics The Journal published 57 issues (53 regular issues + 4 special issues). 6 Editors-in-chief and 26 editors.
