I MMUNIZATION H ISTORY D OCUMENTATION  Historical dates for immunizations should be entered in the MM/DD/YYYY format.  This is the only acceptable format for South Carolina DHEC (SCIPAS).  Accurately recording vaccine information helps prevent duplicate vaccines.  If the patient is unsure of the exact month and/or day, it is acceptable to enter 01/01 and the 4 digit year as the entry.

4. M ANUAL R ESULT E NTRY R EMINDERS  Ensure that the Ordered By field contains the name of the provider who ordered the test. ○ This will send a Verify Results task to that provider. NOTE: If a providers name is not entered in the Ordered By field it generates a task that no one sees.  If you wish not to send a Verify Results task to the Provider, uncheck the Verification Required box.

M EDICARE W ELLNESS N OTE & S CREENING S CHEDULE  Available May 5 th.  Can be used for Welcome to Medicare visits AND Annual Wellness visits.  When a Medicare Wellness note is started, a second Screening for Medicare note output will generate automatically showing the covered preventative services and their frequency.  This takes the place of the manual grid that is currently being completed for the patient.
