2. What is Camp Grady Spruce? ▪ Outdoor educational program that takes the classroom outside. ▪ The surrounding natural resources – Johnson’s Peak, Devil’s Island, Possum Kingdom Lake – are used to immerse students in hands-on learning sessions.

7. Where is it and how do we get there? ▪ Camp Grady Spruce is located on Possum Kingdom Lake (about 120 west of here) ▪ Closest towns are Graford and Mineral Wells ▪ We will take charter buses to and from camp

9. Where will I sleep? Each cabin at main camp sleeps 16. There are 7 bunk beds and 2 single beds. Each cabin has a community bathroom with private toilets and showers. Main Camp also has a nice dining hall overlooking Devil’s Island. We are served 3 meals/day…family style.

10. Chaperones Chaperones are very important to have a successful camp. You will be responsible for the students in your cabin (with at least one other chaperone). Background checks and fingerprinting are required. The cost is $200 (all-inclusive)

Camp Cost $200 – includes camp costs (lodging and food), charter bus and t- shirt $50 non-refundable deposit is due (pays for the buses) All payments must be paid in full by September 25, 2015 Checks must include driver’s license and phone number Please use the payment coupons with your payment – make sure your student’s full name is on the coupon

12. Last Info. Permission slips and t-shirt size forms will be sent home with your child during the first 2 weeks of school this fall. September 25 is the last day to turn in money for students/chaperones. Meeting for all campers and chaperones will be held about 10 days prior to camp. Date TBD October 14-16 – CAMP!
