Final Words Computer assisted pre-planned osteotomies can significantly help the surgeon in finding the best correction for a given complex deformity 3D printed patient specific bone models have been proven to help the surgeon better visualise the deformity as well as the correction method prior to making the incision Patient specific surgical guides ensure that the correction is in fact performed in accordance to the planning. It can also reduce the surgery time As with any new method, patient selection is crucial, and more complex deformities, particularly those involving rotational deformities are better candidates for this method
