Romans 1:14-16 14. I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. 15. So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. 16. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

His purpose in this world Matt. 1:21 “he shall save his people from their sins” 1 Tim. 1:15 “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” Luke 19:10 “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” “…leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps.” 1 Pet. 2:21

First Christians were soul winners Acts 8:4 “…went every where preaching the word.” Acts 8:5 “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.” Acts 8:12 “…they were baptized, both men and women.” “…preached to every creature which is under heaven” Col. 1:23

Prov. 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life: and he that winneth souls is wise.” It saves the soul of the person won to the Lord Matt. 16:26 – “what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” James 5:19-20 “save a soul from death”

Prov. 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life: and he that winneth souls is wise.” Helps the soul winner to save his own soul Daniel 12:2,3 “turn many to righteousness”

 Watch our own lives  Make sure we are a good example  Not have time to find fault with others.

A Christian “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” 2 Tim.2:2

Student of the word “they shall be all taught of God.” John 6:44-45  Two covenants  Plan of salvation  Characteristics of the New Testament Church  Acts of Acceptable Worship

Not be Contentious “But speaking the truth in love,…” Eph. 4:15 2 Timothy 2:24-26 “And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”

If God loved the world enough to give His Son, surely it is not too much for us to give ourselves to the teaching of the gospel to those dying in sin !!
