Objective of Lunch and Learn The objective of today’s Lunch and Learn session is to provide mapping partners with a final opportunity to ask questions about the decommissioning of the DFIRM Tools and/or how to migrate projects out of the Tools. No other Lunch and Learn sessions are scheduled as the Tools will be shut down July 31. 5

Activities Performed To Date Announced FEMA’s intention to decommission the Tools Coordinated with FEMA’s Risk MAP contractors to discuss technical solutions and manage the removal of study data from the DFIRM Tools environment Created and posted FAQ list and user guidance document Held monthly Lunch and Learn sessions Perspective from mapping partner who does not use the DFIRM Tools Possible alternative tools available –FMD9 How to export data using tools built into DFIRM Tools Open Call 6

Update on the Decommissioning All available information about the decommissioning is posted to the MIP Web site under News and Highlights Two final e-mail reminders about the decommissioning will be sent out on July 23 and on July 30 JTX jobs status update as of July 16: 198 jobs in the Tools that are not scheduled to go effective until after 7/31/10 No information that any additional jobs have had their LFD dates delayed 7

Update on the Decommissioning Jobs can be removed by exporting the data and copying the information using Citrix. Please contact MIP Help if you have any questions. No new LOMR jobs should be opened using the Tools. Any mapping partner that foresees issues with removing their jobs from the Tools should contact Howard Davis for technical issues or Mary Jo Mullen for any contractual issues. There will be an unspecified period of time after the DFIRM Tools are decommissioned on 7/31/10 where it will be possible for MIP Help to export study data, but all attempts should be made to export the data before the deadline. 8
