5.  It is possible to take music up in fifth year.  However, having an instrument or trained voice is necessary.  Theory and musicianship can be learned in fifth year but a strong work ethic is needed in order to catch up on J.C. material.

6.  Music students have been most likely to receive an A, B or C at higher level over the past three years.  The rate of A’s is also high with between 14- 15% receiving an A2 or higher.  The most common grade awarded last year was a B2 (19% of students)
