Background Agnese Nelms Haury - long-time philanthropist who supported the University of Arizona (UA) 2014 Foundational programs established at UA 2015 Competitive grant making to encourage partnerships between community and UA to solve challenges

Seed Funding Total amount available: $100,000 Expected number of grants: 2-4 2 grants at $50,000 each or 4 grants at $25,000 each or Another combination 1-year or 2-year duration If 2-year project, you need to submit a budget for two years Submit directly to Haury Program

Challenge Grant Funding Total amount available: $200,000/year, 3 years duration Expected number of grants: 1 Up to 3-year duration Fall 2015 – 3 finalists selected Winter 2015 – 3 finalists prepare for presentation Funding for preparation: $10,000/team Presentation in late April Submit directly to Haury Program

Visiting Fellowship Funding Total amount available: $20,000 Expected number of grants: up to 4 $5,000 per month basis (assume in- residence costs) Encourage at least 1-month stays, 2-week stays acceptable To work with UA campus colleagues To engage with local communities Submit directly to Haury Program
