GRAMMAR Genitive Singular lets you know the declension of a noun. Can you identify the nouns in Lesson 16 as 1 st or second declension nouns? Canis, collis, crucis? No, they do not end in –ae or –i. They are 3 rd declension nouns which will be taught in the First Form Latin next semester.
