OZONE FACTS The estimate for the air is 80% healthier within the next 10 years. when the air feels thick means there is ozone in the air. If ozone is 193 or higher it could cause heart problems.

AirPollution the state can not afford to wait for the government to protest for it’s citizens danger to nitrogen oxide pollution. Air pollution causes millions of asthma attacks each year in the U.S. but the level of nitrogen oxide has increased by 20% over the last 30 year.

MORE FACTS since the clean air act was adopted in 1970, our nation has made great strides for reducing harmful pollutants from our air such as sulfur dioxide. people with asthma and hay fever should not go outside with high percent of ozone in the air.

POWER PLANTS FACTS Most of the coal-fired power plants are located in the eastern half of the country. 21% of nitrogen comes from power plants. power plants make air pollution and air pollution makes acid rain.

Extra Facts Ozone is one of many pollutants. Based on air quality data from 2002, “approximately 146 million people live In counties where air was unsafe to breath. Microscopic particles can be breathed in deep Microscopic particles can be breathed in deep Into the lungs and causes significant health threats. Ozone is one of many pollutants. 8 Experiment information Within the next two days I will do my usaul amount of time then the other two I will try to save energy, to try to make less energy to make the air a little more cleaner little by little. Day 1 :14 mins for my radio Day 1: 33mins for the light Day 2:17 mins for the radio Day 2: 25 mins for my light Continue on next slide

Extended Experirment information time to save energy day3: 12 mins on light day3: 4 mins with radio day4:15 mins with lights day4: 6 mins with radio do you see the difference?

Random Facts for air pollution when the trees start to suffer we suffer if the air gets very dirty it affects trees. If you use a little bit of energy you can aprove the air.
