6 Homework  Abacus homework is set at the beginning of each week and will link to the planning that is being taught for that week. Education city is also a good tool.  The Login in for abacus should be : Childs Name abacus  Number Facts  Reading – Daily reading  Spellings

7 How can you help your child at home?  Practicing number fact work, or other ongoing maths work, with your child – I say, you say – make it fun.  Practice counting with fingers!  Help with spelling practice, and discuss how these spellings can be put into sentences.  When you listen to your child read, ask them lots of questions.
