 Romans 9:21  Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?  Vessel unto honour  Person who has faith in Christ  Vessel unto dishonour  Person who rejects Christ

 Hebrews 11:24-26  24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;  25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;  26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

 Romans 9:21-22  For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.  18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

 II Timothy 2:20-21  20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.  21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.  Vessel unto honour  Fruitful Christian  Vessel unto dishonour  Carnal Christian

 Acts 26:19  Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

 II Timothy 4:10  For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

 Martin Luther (November 10,1483 – February 18,1546)  He inspired the Protestant Reformation.  He nailed his 95 Theses of Contention to the Wittenberg Church door in Germany on October 31, 1521.  He translated the New Testament into German for the first time from the 1516 Greek-Latin New Testament of Erasmus, and published it in September of 1522.  He published the entire Bible in German in 1530’s.

 "Behold, LORD, an empty vessel that needs to be filled. My LORD, fill it. I am weak in the faith, strengthen me. I am cold in love; warm me and make me fervent, that my love may go out to my neighbor. I do not have a strong and firm faith; at times I doubt and am unable to trust You altogether. O LORD, help me. In you I have sealed the treasure of all I have. Therefore I will remain with You, of whom I can receive, but to whom I may not give." Martin Luther [The 365- Day Devotional Commentary]
