SO describes the three main events that happened in the story as the SOMEBODY tries to solve the conflict or problem. It sets the scene for the conflict, describing who, when, and where. RISING ACTION In this part of the story the plot becomes more complicated and the conflict is introduced. RISING ACTION continued through CLIMAX This is the turning point of the story. This is the highest point of interest. FALLING ACTION The author reveals the result of the conflict and tells what happened after the climax. RESOLUTION This gives the final outcome of the story and its final events or solution.
