TYPE IN “DIMSTYLE” SELECT NEW AND TITLE “Arch48”

Select the lines tab and make the changes shown below and for each of the following slides.

From the file tabs on the top of the screen, select Annotate We will be using Linear dimensions and continue dimensions to dimension the house as shown on the next slide. Continue dimension

Complete the dimensions

Complete Labels for interior. Add titles to rooms such as the Kitchen, Parlor, Dining Room, Living Room, Recreation Room, Music Room, Entertainment Room, Etc as you see fit. Do not label the bathroom nor closets. Place an indicator on the steps pointing direction of climb, such as UP.

Download architectural template from Mr. Scott’s Swift Site and save to your student file as a dwt file type Save as DWT file type in student folder.

Right click on the Layout bar and select from template. Navigate to the saved DWT file and load it into your georgian house drawing.

Type in MVSETUP “Michael Victor Sally Edgar Terrance Ulysses Peter” Multiview Setup command for Autocad Select Scale by typing S and pressing the Enter key Select “all” the objects, type in All, followed by the enter key, twice. Enter the number of paper space units, enter 1 followed by enter key, Enter the number of model space units 48 followed by enter key. Follow with esc key.

Model space or paper space? You can switch between paper and model space by clicking the paper/model on the status bar. Do not draw in model space in this layout. Draw using drawing display. Draw in drawing window, adjust drawing in paper/model space

Change text in titleblock using DDEDIT Use Paper space.
