ACSDA GOVERNANCE REVIEW AND WORK PLAN The Executive Committee is undertaking a review of ACSDA’s governance following a commitment made at this year’s General Assembly, including; Mission, objectives and structure of the Association Review of the by-laws to ensure they remain appropriate for the Association e.g. election process, membership requirements, Executive Committee (Size, structure and function) etc. Work plan, priorities Results and recommendations will be presented in 2012

An association of the world’s 5 regional CSD Associations Formed at CSD 11 – evolution of the CSD Contacts Group Collectively exploring areas where the world’s CSDs and CSD Associations can collaborate, e.g. CPSS/IOSCO Association of Global Custodians (AGC) CSD Conferences WORLD FORUM of CSDs (WFC)

8. March 2011 - Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems and the Technical Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions issued Principles for Financial Market Infrastructures May - July - A small task force of ACSDA members carried out an extensive review of the Principles July 28 th – ACSDA submitted a comment letter regarding the principles which is available on the ACSDA website. A number of ACSDA members also submitted comment letters August 2 nd – WFC submitted a comment letter to which ACSDA contributed 2012 – Revised Principles and an Assessment Criteria are expected to be issued early in 2012. ACSDA and the WFC will actively participate in the next phase of the process CPSS/IOSCO – PRINCIPLES FOR FINANCIAL MARKET INFRASTRUCTURES
