How do we define the personality traits of a hero? Hero who faces challenges every day and become stronger because of those challenges Doesn’t give up in anything they do/ work for, no matter how strong it gets Works their hardest every day Changes/ impacts people everyday Do everything your suppose to do even if you don’t want to Must trust yourself Ability to learn new things everyday Set goals to work harder in life Have a good attitude to accomplish a goal Passion to become a better person

How long did it take her to overcome what has happened to her husband, and live like any other day he was around? Couple weeks after she felt lonely Prayed to god that she would get struck by lightening so she could be with her husband Lied in bed and cried and didn’t want to go anywhere She tried attending where other people who had lost their husbands from heart attacks or cancer, had stopped attending when realized half the ladies could be her grandmother because they were extremely old. Had a passion to meet other widows and talk with them and how they found a reason to live after the death. (“People Magazine- A lot more living to do”) Hard to laugh and be happy after her spouse died (Connecting a New Generation)

How long did her project take to get started and why did she want to follow through threw this project? Typed in widow to the internet one day when feeling lonely, and nothing came up besides “did you mean window” and that’s when she realized that she needed to do something about that. Couple of weeks after her death of her husband she decided to get strength and help other in her shoes Wanted to impact others who have lost their husbands also and here there stories for the younger generations of widows. (“Hopes Voice”) Wont be alone, have people to talk to that will actually understand what she went through. Honor the love of their husbands sacrifice and provide a comfortable environment to those who share the same kind of story. (“L’Oreal”) Started the project with facebook and the internet to get her story out there (American Widow Project- Unifying the New Generation)

Why is this project important to people who had lost their husbands? Reaches out to other women throughout the country Listens to one another and fully understand situation Connects, supports, and wants to bring happiness to one another Helps heal today's society (American Widow Project- Unifying the New Generation)

How many people did she impact throughout the country and how did this get started so people would start knowing about her? In 2001 half of the members in Iraqi and Afghanistan were killed, leaving an estimated of 3,000 women without their husbands. The internet helped her get started Impacted and had volunteers that helped hold events throughout the country for widows that had been through the same situation (American Widow Project- Unifying the New Generation)
