2 Carlo Vangelista was wounded by a bullet while he was fighting in the First World War.

3 The belt he was wearing protected him and saved his life the entrance hole of the bulletthe exit hole with traces of Carlo’s blood

4 Carlo was hospitalized to the military hospital of Riserva di Lugo There are his medical records

5 Carlo miraculously survived and went back home to his family
