Southeast Service Cooperative AYP/School Improvement Mission Our mission is to establish partnerships to build internal capacity for continuous improvement so that the schools we serve meet the needs of all students.

We work to build capacity within District/School Improvement Teams by: Coordinating the development, implementation, review and revision of Improvement Plans; while serving as a member of District/School teams

Providing ongoing support to Districts and Schools by checking the progress being made toward reaching goals through regular communication via onsite visits, email, Skype, teleconference, telephone calls and videoconference

Working with District/School teams to identify and analyze data and facilitate team dialogue

Conducting ongoing onsite visits or meetings with District/School teams to initiate discussion and ongoing refinement of Improvement Plans

Identifying specific and joint professional development needs of District/School teams and develop a plan to address them

Supporting the development and implementation of high quality professional development based on customized training, follow-up, resources and technical assistance from SSC

Managing the AYP grant contract and reporting requirements in meeting the needs of schools and districts In Need of Improvement

District/School Leadership Team Team members: Attend all meetings Write District/School Improvement Plan Check progress toward meeting the goals in Plan Communicate with school personnel Support and celebrate the efforts and successes Be an informed member who investigates and learns about research and best practices

Improvement Plans Improvement Plan Team Workshops Needs Improvement Stages 1.1 August, September, October Needs Improvement Stages 1.2+ September and October 911 Workshop October 26 (All Needs Improvement Stages) Final review Due on November 10 for review by School Improvement Coordinators. Plans are sent to MDE after Coordinator review process. Improvement Plan Service Delivery
