Mixing Complementary Colors to create neutrals

Complementary colors are directly across from one another on the color wheel. When mixed they get various neutrals. They are versions of brown and many not be “pretty” colors.

Start by putting the pure color on either side

Mix on your TILE add a little green to your red and place in next to the red add a little green to that color and place it next add more green and place it next add a lot of green and place it next take a lot of green and add a little red and place it directly next to the green

Repeat for your next colors ONLY Yellow Add more purple Yellow with a tiny purple A lot of purple with a tiny yellow ONLY purple

Repeat for your next colors ONLY Blue Add more orange Blue with a tiny orange A lot of orange with a tiny blue ONLY blue
