Definition A PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique) chart allows you to show visually how tasks of a project are linked, It shows the time required for each task and the minimum time to complete a project, It uses standard notation to represent tasks and linking lines to represent time taken to complete each task, Each mile stone is numbered in ascending order often in units of 10 so additional tasks can be added.

Drawing The Chart SIMPLE - Most project management software will draw a PERT chart for you from a completed Gantt chart.

Hints For it to work properly interdependencies should be created on your Gantt chart first, Check the print settings before printing as they may be rather large – may be worth exporting in different format.
