How many electives can I choose? There are 8 periods of the day, but 1 period must be reserved for lunch. Many students elect to have a year-long study hall, this leaves 6 periods that must be filled with classes. To know what the required and typical courses are, see the Typical Schedule mini-presentation for your student’s grade level.

Financial Literacy Financial Literacy requirement is a graduation requirement Students must take a class that has Financial Literacy components at some point in grades 9-12. Classes that fulfill this requirements are: Financial Literacy & Economics Economics is available 11 th /12 th grade year only Both are semester-long courses

Elective Courses To earn additional credits, students may take additional core classes beyond the minimum requirements or may opt to take elective courses. Elective courses may include: Fine Arts—Choir, Band, Orchestra, Drama, Visual Art English electives Family Consumer Science classes Industrial Tech/Robotics
