4. D2L – Desire 2 Learn D2L is a website that allows students and teachers to interact and share information easily outside of a classroom. D2L has many features for students to communicate with the professor as well as with other students. One way to share with other students is through the discussions board tab. You can post new information as well as repsond to other posts but other students Teachers can post online quizzes for students to take or post announcements they may have forgot to mention in class This is an example of multimedia Literacy because Student collaboration and technology should go hand in hand.

Adobe Connect Adobe Connect allows individuals to hold a "conference call" You can view the desktop of other people within the conference call and see what they type or edit on their screen You can also share documents so everyone can edit the same document This is an example of mutimedia literacy because Literacy is traditionally the ability to read and write; but with the increase in use of computer technology and multimedia, literacy is no longer basic.
