2 Look at the word Scouting closely, what do you see? Scouting Outdoors, Camping, Having fun, Playing games, Eating great, Sleeping under the stars, Meeting new people! WOW!! How can you be part of the FUN?

4 What do I bring? Gear

5 Sleeping Bag or Blanket. Check the weather before you pack

6 Sleeping Pad or Cot. Believe me squishy is nice.

7 Water Bottle. Keeping hydrated makes sense

8 Flash Light. Its nice to see where you are going in the dark.

9 Rain Gear. Don’t let rain put a damper on the day, stay dry in a very simple way

10 Tents. Don’t forget your house we all need a home

16 Akela Camp Dates Lewis and Clark Trail (to be held at Lewis & Clark Scout Camp): June 11-13 Buffalo Ridge (location TBD): June 18-20 Prairie Hills (to be held at Newton Hills Scout Camp): June 25-27 5 Rivers (location TBD): July 9-11 Pheasant (to be held at Camp Arroya): July 16-18 North Star (to be held at Richmond Youth Camp): July 23-25

17 Akela Fees All registrants required before May 1, 2010 – Fees are $35 After May 1, 2010 registrations – Fees are $45 Shirts are available for $10 at camp while supplies last
